“We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel and room were very clean. The place still looked
new even though they have been open for two years now. The price had already been reduced to the off season fall rate. I looked first on the internet and then called them. They reduced the internet price by 10% to the AAA rate when I spoke to them on the phone.”

“This is the second year in a row that we have stayed at La Copa Inn for our family vacation. Both years we had a beachfront hotel room and for the money you just can't beat the accommodations here. The staff is always extremely pleasant. Anything that we have ever needed was always delivered very speedy. The breakfasts in the mornings are outstanding. The happy hours are a very nice extra. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. Make sure that you go to the beach at night and watch the crabs, especially fun for the kids.”

“We have just recently returned from our stay at La Copa Inn. After a 9 hour drive from Dallas, we arrived at 2 in the afternoon and our room was ready to go. We requested a 4th floor room, which was granted without problem. Check in was a snap and we were helped with taking our luggage up to the room. The room was nice and clean and very spacious. We had a double queen and there was even a pull out couch. After about 2 minutes in the room we left for the beach. One of the best features of this hotel is the long boardwalk down to the beach front. After walking and sinking in the sand, I was really appreciative of the long boardwalk. The hotel has an excellent location, just off the bridge between the Sheraton and the Radisson. We enjoyed watersports at both of these neighboring hotels without any problem. The water was nice and warm and we were so surprised how pretty it was. Occasionally I would see sand in the elevator or around the hotel, but in my next pass by it was always gone. The staff was wonderful and overall the hotel was perfect for our stay. There were lots of families there and we brought our dog as well. We had no problems at the La Copa and I've already booked another trip in October. We love the La Copa Inn and we love South Padre Island!! After living in Texas for nearly 5 years, we have finally found a great vacation destination for our family.”
